Hey everyone, I’m Nora Benjamin, a Senior Designer at Embroidered Patches. I have been doing this for what feels like a lifetime now, and truthfully, I still love the feeling of seeing a fuzzy idea come to life as an embroidered patch that someone will be thrilled to stick on their favorite jacket. My day is literally consumed by our embroidery patches making services, which means taking someone’s inspiration, whether it comes from a neatly drawn sketch or just a chat over the phone, and then working out all the nuts and bolts of translating that into something stitched that will stand up to wear. I get pretty fussy about the thread counts and matching the right pantone numbers to actual colors that will be woven in, but that’s generally where the difference between a patch that looks okay on-screen and a patch that still looks good after a dozen wash cycles lies. I also prefer to work with clients in a back-and-forth manner. Nothing goes into mass production before. I have drafted a digital proof so everyone can have a good look, and I am completely game with Tweaking it as much as needed before then.
